Apart from it's unique designs, Snuggles turns imagination to life in a cuddly form by crafting plushies based on a wide range of inspirations. Their in-house designers are capable of converting kids' drawings (as simple as a doodle), complicated graphical illustrations, recreations, and intricate pixel art, to beautiful plushies. The challenge
Snuggles initially turned to Shopify for their POS and ecommerce operations. However, they started looking for a transition from Shopify because of numerous challenges they encountered. Integration issues between their POS and printer, inventory management problems, and limited support availability aggravated their struggles. Managing inventory became burdensome, requiring excessive time and labor for inbound and outbound tracking and production planning. During their search, Zakya stood out as a promising solution. Subsequently, they had a seamless transition from Shopify to Zakya practically overnight.
The solution
Snuggles was drawn to Zakya as a new brand under Zoho, however they soon gained confidence in its user-friendly and reliable features. With Zakya, they streamlined their entire inventory management process from onboarding items to planning their manufacturing based on demand forecasting. As a result, they started experiencing a reduction in the lead time from days to mere hours. Significantly, they were able to cut down their workforce from three to four individuals to just one person and use the others for different operations.
Identifying the fast-moving items using Zakya, Snuggles started to plan their manufacturing processes better, enabling them to adjust production quantities based on demand and identify stagnant products to put on hold. Additionally, Zakya's multi-outlet option simplified their operations, providing a centralized inventory management system for all their stores across different locations.
