Transactions and Reports in Branches

Branches in Zakya streamline data consolidation for businesses with multiple branches, offering comprehensive insights with minimal effort. By enabling branches, transactions, and registers can be associated with specific branches, facilitating accurate report generation tailored to branch-specific or overall analytics.

For any business, having wholesome and accurate metrics on what performs and what works is crucial. Likewise, if a business has multiple branches across the state, then consolidating these metrics is not just time-consuming, but also leaves a lot of room for error. However, with Branches in Zakya, the business can gather all the crucial data points from all the branches together in just a click.

Report Generation in Branches

For a report to be generated with all the crucial sales and analytical metrics, either for one particular branch or for all the branches that business holds, the transactions will have to be associated with the branches first. To do so:

  • Enable branches in Zakya.
  • Assign a register with a branch.
  • Start making transactions, this will be associated with the designated branch.

To generate reports for a specific branch

  • Open the Zakya web application.
  • Open the Reports module in the sidebar.
  • Click on a report and click the Customize Report button.
  • Go to the General tab, then click +Add.
  • Select Branch from the drop-down, and choose the comparators accordingly.
  • Once done, click Run Report.

To generate reports for Branch details

  • In the Zakya POS web application, open the Reports module in the sidebar.
  • Click on reports and click the Customize Report button.
  • Go to Show/Hide Columns and click the + button next to branches.
  • Click on Run Report.

Associating Branches with Transactions

For a business, it is imperative to keep track of all their transactions. When a business has multiple branches, they can track all their transactions under one umbrella for a holistic view of all the key analytics. Any time a new transaction is made, a branch can be associated with it, making it easier to generate reports that includes all the key insights. Because the GSTIN is associated with a branch, the transaction, when mapped to a branch, will make it easy to keep track of the tax-related data as well.

To associate Branches with Transactions

  • Select the transaction where the Branch is to be associated.
  • Fill in the required details and on the same tab, select an available branch from the pop-up.
  • Once done, click Save.

Effects of Branches in Zakya POS

On enabling Multi-branches, all the existing transactions and registers will be mapped under the primary branch. For any further transactions, they will be mapped with the corresponding branch in which the transaction occurs.

Effects of branches in Registers

Branches, once enabled, will be reflected in registers. While creating or editing a register, a branch can be mapped to a register.

To map a branch with register

  • Open the Zakya Web application.
  • Go to Settings > Registers.
  • While creating a new register or editing an existing one, select the branch from the drop-down to be mapped with the register.
  • Click Update to map that particular branch with that register. Now, in the registers page, all the registers that are mapped with a branch will showcase the name of the respective branch.

Effects of branches in Inventory Adjustments

Upon enabling branches, each new adjustment can be mapped with a branch. If adjustments were made before the branches were enabled, those will be mapped with the primary branch. These can later be edited and mapped with any branch as per your preference.

To map a branch with Inventory Adjustments

  • Open the Zakya Web application.
  • Go to Business > Inventory > Adjustments.
  • Click +New, fill in the details, and select the branch that needs to be mapped from the drop-down.
  • Once done, click on Convert to Adjusted. If there is an existing adjustment, open and click on Edit and select the branch that needs to be mapped from the drop-down.
