Configure Barcode Template

Zakya's item barcodes allow businesses to store every item's unique value in a barcode, which helps them with stock tracking, purchase entry, pricing, and other operations.

A barcode is machine-readable data that stores product information. This information might be anything that sets the product apart from others. Using a barcode scanner, this encoded data will be read and interpreted directly from the product. This information will be transferred to a database and utilized for various purposes, such as stock tracking, purchase entry, pricing, and much more. Since barcodes are primarily used for identification, businesses often use them to identify items easily and manage inventories swiftly and accurately.

Accurate and Reliable: Previously, employees would manually track a product's stock. Because of this approach, the stock tracking process turned into a day job, wasting the time of both employees and business. This approach is also inaccurate and unreliable since human errors are anticipated. However, with barcodes, this process can be done effectively in hours. It's also more accurate and reliable than a manual approach, as each entry will be logged into the database directly without any manual intervention.

Time Saving: Employees at the checkout normally bill the products by manually inputting the product information into the Point of Sale. However, this is a time-consuming approach, as it requires the staff to remember and enter the details of every product in the store. Using barcodes, the checkout process becomes faster, as it fetches all product details from the point of sale with the push of a button, saving time spent on human entry.

Cost Saving: Manually entering product information into a system for various processes like purchase entry, stock taking, billing, and much more requires experienced and well-trained staff. However, with barcodes, a less experienced person is sufficient to do all these major processes, and they can be trained easily, as well. This helps businesses cut major costs and run efficiently.
