Integrate Pine Labs with Zakya

Integrate Pine Labs with Zakya for seamless transactions. Set up Pine Labs details and tender types, add terminals, and map them to registers. Salesperson can initiate transactions through the desktop app, reflecting payments on EDC devices. 

Paytm is one of the leading payment platforms that lets businesses accept payments from multiple payment instruments. Millions of users perform their transactions hassle-free on Paytm everyday. Payments are done through EDC (Electronic Data Capture) machines and through device-less QR code scanners.

Step 1: To integrate Pine Labs

  • Go to Settings > Payments > Payment Providers from the Zakya web application.
  • Select Pine Labs, and click Set up Now.
  • Configure Pine Labs by providing the following details: Merchant ID, Security Token.
  • Click Save.

Note

  • The merchant should have registered in the payment gateway after which the credentials can be obtained from the Pine Labs business or sales team.

Step 2: To add tender types

  • Go to Settings > Payments > In-Store Payments.
  • Click Add Tender Type to add a new tender type.
  • Choose Processing Type as Integrated Payment Terminal.
  • Choose the corresponding Payment Provider as Pine Labs.
  • Set the Display Name as you would like for it to appear on the display buttons.
  • Click Add to add the tender type.
  • Click Change Order and drag the options to re-order them on the display screen.
    The first six tender types will be listed in the Zakya desktop billing application.
  • Click Save to save the changes.
  • Click the Incremental sync icon in the Zakya desktop and mobile apps to sync the following changes: Added tender types, Change in order.

Step 3: To add terminals

  • Go to Settings > Payments > Payment Terminals.
  • Click Add Tender Type to add a new tender type.
  • Click Add Payment Terminal to add a device.
  • Select the Payment Provider as Pine Labs.
  • Set up a unique name to identify the device as the Display Name.
  • Provide the IMEI Number associated with the device.
  • Provide the Merchant Store POS Code.
  • Click Add.

Note

  • IMEI Number and Merchant Store POS Code can be obtained from Pine Labs sales or business team.

Step 4: To map a terminal with a register

  • Go to Settings > Payment Terminal from the Zakya desktop billing application to map a terminal with a register. All the added terminals are listed here.
  • Choose the relevant terminal and map it with the register.

    When a salesperson initiates the transaction at a particular counter, the request will be sent to the corresponding mapped terminal automatically.

Initiate Transactions using Integrated Payment Solutions

When the salespeople have added all the items in the cart, they initiate a transaction request for payment by choosing the corresponding tender type from the Zakya desktop billing app. This request is processed and sent to the corresponding EDC device. The customers give their credentials as input to complete the payment. Once the payment is reflected in Zakya, the sale can be completed.

Note

  • Ensure that your EDC device and the billing device are connected to a stable wifi connection.

Step 5: To initiate a payment through Pine labs

  • Choose the corresponding tender type from the displayed list.
  • Click Cloud Transaction on the homepage of your EDC Device to retrieve the transaction information. Confirm the amount by clicking OK and complete the payment.
  • Alternatively through the Payments app, click Accept payment > Browse other options > Cloud - Get open transactions. The payment request will appear on the EDC device. Confirm the amount by clicking OK and complete the payment.

Note

  • The status of the payment is reflected automatically in the popup that appears in the desktop application.
  • If the payment is done from the customer's end but isn't reflected in the Zakya windows app, you can click Complete transaction. This can further be tracked in the web application.
  • If you want to cancel a transaction, click Cancel Transaction in the popup that appears in the desktop application while the transaction is processing.
  • You can cancel a transaction through Pine Labs only if you have not accepted the transaction request already in the EDC device.
