Managing in-store payments

Customers expect diverse payment options at the point of sale for convenience. With Zakya, businesses can configure various payment methods like cash, card, UPI, and credit sales. Offering multiple payment options enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Customers at the point of sale would want to pay for the products that they have purchased using different payment methods such as cash, card, net banking, online payment platforms such as Google Pay, PhonepPe, gift cards, wallet credits, and so on. When you are managing a retail store, the POS system should be able to accept different types of payments from your customers.

For example, John has purchased a few stationeries from ABC Stores and wants to pay via Google Pay. Unfortunately, the store only accepts payments made via cash, or card. John is frustrated that he is not able to complete the purchase after spending a lot of time searching and selecting the required items.

He moves to another store, Zylker Mart and checks if they accept payments via Google Pay, and they do. They also support payments done via net banking, cheque for large transactions, gift cards, Paytm Wallets. Now, John is relieved and continues to purchase at Zylker Mart.

So now, will John prefer ABC Stores again?
No. Because the store hasn't updated the payment methods that are widely preferred by the customers.

When you support different payment methods like Zylker Mart, it gets easy for the customers to complete the sale and checkout from the point of sale. Also, they will be happy to come back thereby earning customer loyalty.
