Overview of Zakya Mobile Store

Zakya Mobile Store takes businesses into the palms of customers. Available as web application, can be accessed anytime and through any device.

Mobile Store in Zakya will help customers from your neighborhood and beyond find your business in the palm of their hands. You can create a mobile store with products and categories from Zakya inventory and customize it based on your selling preferences. It can be shared with your customers as a link that can be opened in any browser. This link will also be available as a QR code.

Your online store can be accessed through the URL, where customers can place orders anytime and through any device. Mobile Store in Zakya eliminates the dependency on any platform to take your store online and helps you manage your online store within Zakya.

Let's take an example where you run a retail business and fulfill orders via Whatsapp, texts, and phone calls. Your billing staff manages these orders in addition to billing walk-in consumers. The prevailing issue with this approach is that until the order is delivered, the consumer won't know the specifics or status of it, and when orders grow, there's a possibility that some of them may be missed or incorrect orders may be created. These issues might seriously harm the consumer experience and have a negative impact on your business.

To avoid this, you now follow a new approach with the Zakya Mobile Store. You set up your store with a name and share the URL as a link or QR code with your customers.

How can customers place an order?

They can simply log in to your store with an email address and password. Once logged in, along with items and categories, they can also see your advertisement banners at the top of the homepage. From here, customers can find the price and stock of any item and add it to their cart. In the cart, they can review the order details with its pricing summary to ensure that the right items are added before placing the order. Finally, the order can be placed by selecting the fulfillment type. If there is any issue with the order, they can also get in touch with you using the email address or mobile number you gave them as your customer care details.

How can a store owner identify these orders?

In your Zakya web application, you will receive these orders directly in the Orders section of the Sales module, with a separate indication to indicate these orders were received through the mobile store. You can update these orders, and every update will be reflected in the Order Status section of these orders in the Zakya mobile store. All the issues with the previous approach can be resolved with this new one, which enhances customer satisfaction and promotes business expansion.

To get started with the Zakya mobile store

  • Go to Sales Channel > Mobile Store, then click Get Started.

  • In the Configure Mobile Store screen, you can enter the name of your store in the Display Name section, setup your mobile store link in the Store URL section and click Save.

  • You can now copy this URL by clicking the copy icon in the Store Details section and share it with your customers to access. You can also download this URL as a QR code by clicking Get QR code in the QR code section.

Note

  • The Store URL can have letters, numbers, and hyphens [-]. Other special characters and blank spaces are not allowed.
  • The Store URL cannot begin or end with a hyphen [-].
  • The Store URL should be between 3 and 30 characters long.
