In any retail store, a cashier at the point of sale will take all the items from the customer to proceed with the billing process. Ensuring a faster checkout is the key to customer satisfaction. The Zakya POS desktop application is user-friendly software that helps a cashier at the retail store to carry out the checkout process. Simply choose the product, tally the cost, and carry out the financial transaction with the customer. Benefits of the Zakya POS application
User-friendly interface
When new software is being adopted in a retail store, the first step in getting started is learning and adapting to what the software has to offer. This can be simple or tedious, based on the complexity of the software. The cashiers at the point of sale already have enough on their plate. They have to be attentive to what the customer needs, clarify their questions, scan the items, and also coordinate with the sales assistants. While navigating all of this, figuring out what the software does right when a customer is waiting to check out the items leaves a bad impression. Zakya POS software has a simple user interface that lets anyone learn and adapt to all the functionalities within a few minutes. The configurations include setting up the printer, barcode scanners, and weighing scale, which is an one-time operation. Additionally, all the functionalities, such as searching for an item, adding customer information, and choosing payment options have a specific keyboard shortcut that makes it easier for the cashier to complete the checkout process quickly.
Synchronization of data
There are two things: the Zakya POS web application and the Zakya POS Software that is installed in your device. The web application can be used to add all the items, manage the inventory, and procure items required from the vendor. The software that is installed on your device is used to conduct the billing process for a customer at a store. Both the web application and the software are synchronized over the cloud. This means whenever a purchase is made, the inventory is automatically adjusted. Moreover, the Zakya POS software on your device can work offline. This means that even when there is a failure of internet connectivity, the billing process can be carried out without any interruption. The data can be synced later once the connectivity is restored.
Various billing modes
In a retail store, the device that is used for billing can be of different types, such as a standard desktop, laptop, and touch screen device. Zakya POS is compatible with any device that runs on the Windows operating system. There are three different modes that can be chosen based on the type of device at your store: Standard, and Touch.
