Reports in Zakya - An Overview

Zakya provides comprehensive reports covering sales, inventory, receivables, payments, payables, purchases, expenses, and activities. These reports streamline data management, optimize customer experiences, facilitate tax management, monitor vendor relationships, and ensure data security.

Running a business entails many things, from the quality of the service, user experience, service availability, and finance management to managing customers' privacy, ensuring data protection, and analytics operations. One common aspect in all the above-mentioned attributes is the fact that businesses—all businesses—have to handle data. This data might range from inventory summary, sales reports, and customer data to payable balances, bill details, and so on.

Let's say Zylker Mart, a retail store, sells groceries and farm produce. It has 30 employees and almost three hundred customers per month. Imagine them handling all their data manually: the inventory stock, sales reports, billables—all of it piling up everyday. When the month ends and they sit to tally it all up, they find that some of the data is missing, some doesn't tally up, some doesn't make sense. This chaotic backend situation will undoubtedly be reflected on the front end—i.e., in the store as well. What should Zylker do to manage this situation? This is clearly an organization and management hazard that is easier to handle when there's structure and documentation—which is exactly why Zakya features reports.

In the case of Zylker, having access to in-depth metrics that illustrate their business's performance is crucial. That provides them with two things:

  • A comprehensive set of reports and business analytics that provide Zylker with a broad picture of their business and helps them keep track of activities.
  • A fact-driven set of reports that reduce human error and empower the business overall by translating raw data into powerful insights.

For any business, customer experience is an integral part of customer retention. In the case of Zylker Mart, customers might become regular or recurring because of Zylker's service, quality of produce, product availability, discounts, and so on. It's crucial for Zylker Mart to identify their high-performing assets and make sure they harness them to reach their fullest potential.

Assume Zylker provides amazing service but its products are often out of stock—something which inevitably drives customers away, despite the quality of the service. Zylker Mart therefore needs to keep an constant eye on what's bringing their customers in, a practice which is simplified via Zakya's Inventory reports. The Product Sales Report showcases the quantity sold of each product, which the business can use to identify the highest-selling products and ensure that they keep them in stock.

During the tax season, Zylker Mart should have their sales and billables in order so that they can manage their taxes more effectively. Before adopting Zakya, the store wasted a lot of time and energy on collecting, organizing, and auditing data manually. Zakya's Sales and Payables Reports are tailor-made for instances like this. These reports are also highly customizable, such that Zylker Mart can add details like the expected payment date, subtotal, billing date, and so on, so that when the file is shared to an auditor or integrated with Zoho Books, the whole process of filing taxes becomes hassle-free.

Zylker Mart is a business that deals with two entities. The frontend deals directly with customers, whereas the backend deals with vendors. Punctuality and delivery are two qualities that reflect the values of a business. They are directly linked when it comes to dealing with vendors. As a business, Zylker Mart purchases products in bulk and requires absolute precision in dealing with such large amounts of data, especially when a third party is involved. Using the Vendor Balances Report, Zylker Mart can view the exact amount that needs to be paid. This report also includes many other relevant data points, including but not limited to departments, payables, unused credits, journal credits, and more.
